A handful of times a year, What Katy Did Next asks if I want to be part of a photoshoot to showcase her latest work.. my answer is always ‘Ummm.. YES!’ and each time her pieces get better and better. Grandad Derek..
This is my Grandad Derek, he turned 80 this year. He started racing again just over 6 years ago and started collecting medals.. he now has 21 including a fair few golds; this year he won a silver in the 75+ 500m time trial. He asked me to take his picture so he could send a few to the local paper… Grandma calls it ‘blowing his own trumpet’, we all call him bloody brilliant.
