Arctic Monkeys at Don Valley Bowl, Sheffield

Last night David and I went to see the Vaccines, Miles Kane and the Arctic Monkeys at Don Valley Bowl in Sheffield. It was absolutely amazing. I only took my little bridge camera, but it has a 15x zoom, so whilst pushing David (who had had a few too many) out of the way to steady my camera on one of the beams, this is the only half decent photograph I got. I’m still feeling pretty lucky I didn’t lose my camera in the moshpit!

Gianluca

I was called upon to take photographs of the beautiful Gianluca a week or so ago. A really gorgeous little boy, about a week before his first birthday. His mum, Franchesca wanted some close up images to put on a canvas next to similar ones of his big brother and sister. Here are a few favourites.

Mother & Baby magazine

This week my photograph was featured in a “Budget for your baby” article in Mother & Baby magazine. I photographed Rosie, her fiance Jon and son Ronnie a month or so ago to promote her new venture- these amazing scrabble pictures below. Rosie is a fashion designer, but has started making these pictures on commission in her spare time. If you want to know more contact her here. And a big thanks to Bauer Media for using my photograph, and also for putting me on their books as a photographer in the North East if they should need my services again 🙂

La Rosa

My friend, my daughter and I visited a little gem she’d heard of near Whitby: La Rosa Campsite Extraordinaire! To say this place is magical is an understatement, and I can give you a peek of it but to appreciate it fully you really must pay it a visit. My poor little car only just made it down the valley dirt track, but once it did we were met with romany caravans, campfires, outdoor baths, circus tents with dressing up clothes and enough ornaments and decorations to keep the most enthusiastic curiosity hoarder happy for life. Here are some photographs I took around site, and at it’s sister hotel in Whitby itself.
