Jess and Shan got married on Saturday at Manchester Town Hall.. an eventful day full of stories to tell (a no-show hairdresser.. extreme rain and hail.. the wrong date on the wedding certificate.. someone pinching a slice of wedding cake early..) but you’d never have known about any hiccups, they were too busy celebrating and passing around trays of vodka shots to care. Amazing stuff.

Rebecca & James | Seatoller House, Lake District
I’ve just been putting the final touches to Rebecca and James’ album so it felt quite fitting to blog their beautiful Lake District wedding today. Living on separate continents (Rebecca lives in Luxembourg and James in Botswana) and planning nuptials can’t be the easiest task but these two definitely pulled it off with a wonderfully hand-made and personal day. They had legally said their vows in Edinburgh a few days before, and celebrated with a outdoor ceremony in front of friends and family at Seatoller House, deep in the Lake District before having their reception in the neighbouring field in a teepee. All the details of their day, from Rebecca’s co-designed Minna wedding dress to James’ zebra socks, really speak for themselves so I’ll let the pictures do the talking.. you can also read Rebecca’s write up of the day on their Love My Dress feature.

Jaclyn & Tim | North Yorkshire
In celebration of the weather getting very slightly warmer from each day to the next it feels fitting to head back to last Summer and blog Jaclyn and Tim’s beautiful farm and barn wedding. It was absolutely glorious weather, and so much effort had gone into transforming the barn into the amazing venue you’ll see below.. Tim grew up on the farm and when they showed me around when I went to meet them the barn was.. well.. full of what you’d expect to find in a working farm barn. They married at a church nearby and their beautiful son William had his own special part to the day and was christened immediately afterwards. A real celebration of family, love and marriage.
