Tracy & Chris {Preview}

Ahhh Tracy & Chris’ wedding was amazing! They asked me to come along for a few hours for the evening reception, as they actually got married in Costa Rica a few weeks ago and had their honeymoon in one go.. When they got home they threw a VE Day/Post War/1940s themed bash and really. went. to. town. Have you seen the guests outfits too?!

Every table was decked out differently with all kinds of paraphernalia from table lamps, to jars of pansies to books..Favours were homemade whisky (labelled Yak’s Piss..!) for the men, and sourced vintage brooches for the ladies.. Bunting poured from the ceiling, and when the lights dimmed, the room was completely transformed into a retro haven ready for a good knees-up!

Here is a small preview of photos from the day, rest assured that I’ll get this set edited as soon as possible, there’s plenty more to come!

Can you believe they only started planning in January?!

Sample Album..

Finally my sample album is here…. and I absolutely love it!

I decided to go for the art-book type album rather than a chunkier option, it was my personal favourite and I love the idea that it can be a ‘coffee table book’ to keep out somewhere around the house.

It’ a traditional size, around 12″x12″ (£160), and there is a smaller ‘parent size’ available at 8″x10″ (£100).

Anyway, here are the pictures and there are more specifics about the album below the gallery…

Summary

Linen covered album (with a choice of colours) with a removable sleeve cover (fully customisable)

12″x12″ for the full size (£160)

8″x10″ for the parent size (£100)

Thick, matte art paper

Process

I would put the album together for you, usually in chronological order, beginning with bridal preparations and finishing with the reception. I would send you proofs for you to check my image choice and layout, and we then work together until you are completely happy, at which point I send the book away to be made, which usually takes a few weeks. The book is delivered to me, I check it over and then send it over to you to keep forever and show everyone you know!

Andrew & Meri on WWW

On Thursday Andrew & Meri’s gorgeous Winter wedding was featured on the gorgeous pages of Whimsical Wonderland Weddings.

Andrew & Meri gave it a brilliant write-up, which you can read at the bottom under the photographs, and even included a lovely shout-out to yours truly!

They are also part of the team behind Fight Pilot, the film project I have been asked to be involved with, you can read all about it here.

For now, here are my personal favourite images from their wedding 🙂

Andrew & Meri’s Winter Wedding {Preview}

On Friday I travelled to Rushpool Hall just outside Saltburn to see Andrew & Meri get married. I’d met them in the past as friends of friends, and last saw them around 5 years ago at a very lively New Year’s party (the less said about that the better!). They were such a lovely couple, and had planned a sparkling wintery wedding and reception in the Blue Room, complete with champagne colours, lace details, feathers and flowers. Meri looked absolutely amazing in a golden champagne dress with some of the best wedding shoes I’ve ever seen, and the day was a gorgeous celebration of marriage, family and friends. Here is a sneak peek at a few of the pics so far.
