Elora and Bobby got in touch a month or so ago and said they were planning a day that was sure to be full of colour, celebration and chaos.. everything a wedding should be. I’ve wanted to shoot an Asian wedding for such a long time and I jumped at the chance to be part of their day. I was there with bells on and it was bloody amazing. Elora and Bobby had a hindu ceremony together with Elora’s brother Neil and his wife Vic, who married in France last year. There was music, dancing, colour, hundreds of celebrating guests, belly dancing, Bobby playing the drums in his band and some pretty wild dancing to finish the night. Here is a preview from their day..

I helped out lovely lady Emily of Emily Hannah Photography over the Easter break – I shot Emily and James’ beautiful, handmade and heartfelt day at The Morritt near Barnard Castle on her behalf. It was a gorgeous day, full of family and friends.. the weather was glorious and it was a complete pleasure to be a part of this intimate wedding.

Jaclyn & Tim | North Yorkshire
In celebration of the weather getting very slightly warmer from each day to the next it feels fitting to head back to last Summer and blog Jaclyn and Tim’s beautiful farm and barn wedding. It was absolutely glorious weather, and so much effort had gone into transforming the barn into the amazing venue you’ll see below.. Tim grew up on the farm and when they showed me around when I went to meet them the barn was.. well.. full of what you’d expect to find in a working farm barn. They married at a church nearby and their beautiful son William had his own special part to the day and was christened immediately afterwards. A real celebration of family, love and marriage.
Here is Jaclyn, Tim and William’s day..

Helen & Ed | Hexham, Northumberland
Man, woman and dog. What a combination for a wedding. Add in a handmade dress, his ‘n’ hers converse, skull print touches, a drumming groom, surprise dance routines, a couple ‘pub’ quiz and CHEESE. Come on.. what more could you want?
Helen and Ed (and, well, Spud too) married in deep Northumberland in a marquee in Helen’s parents garden. They were such a wicked couple, totally into doing every last little thing their way, and the result was amazing. A day full of fun, laughter, friends, family, music, booze and good food.
Here are their photographs, you can read Helen’s write up of the whole day over on Whimsical Wonderland Weddings too. Do it all again Helen and Ed.. please?
