SO – yesterday was my first, ever wedding fair. I’d done a little post about why I jumped at the chance to do the Wedding Institute before – and I’m delighted to say that it lived up to my expectations and more..
Dav and I drove our cars full of furniture from our home (for reasons that D couldn’t initially understand) to make up my little corner in Saltburn Art School. My area was totally messy, full of miscellaneous bits and bobs from our house and probably a bit too busy – but that’s how I like things – organised chaos. Everyone at the fair was so lovely and so like-minded. Everyone’s work was incredibly beautiful and so much care had been taken with presentation and ‘the look’ of the place. Once everyone was set up, it was probably the prettiest place I’ve ever been – packed to the rafters with flowers, silverware, vintage textiles, handmade creations and delicate table-wares.
