Clare and Niall came back to Clare’s neck of the woods to tie the knot at gorgeous venue As You Like It in Jesmond, Newcastle. I love the set up there, everyone celebrated after the ceremony on the garden balcony and then went downstairs to the cellar bar to eat, drink and dance the night away. Plus these two were just gorgeous people inside and out which made the whole day a real dream to shoot – lovely stuff.
It was such a pleasure being able to put something a little bit different for some of my couples this year – working on these little videos isn’t the easiest thing in the world but seeing the images come to life makes it all that little bit magical. I also had the amazing opportunity to make a music video – I was absolutely thrilled to work with Cattle and Cane for their single ‘Skies’ and really try something completely out of my comfort zone. Here are my stop motion videos from 2015 – really looking forward to doing many more of these over the coming months!
…and just like that another year has flown by in the blink of an eye. The past twelve months have been chaotically busy both with work and behind the scenes – we bought our first house, there were wonderful weddings, exciting commercial projects, lots of stop motion wedding videos (and a music video!), maternity and family shoots, engagement shoots.. it’s hard to sum up how much of a whirlwind it’s been – it’s been a really exciting yet exhausting time.
I’ve been really loving pursuing my commercial photography sideline, Ketron – Creative Commercial Photography, and also putting together more and more stop motion wedding videos for couples too (separate post just for this year’s videos coming soon). As always, I’ve had the real privilege of working with some really wonderful couples, people and families – meeting so many interesting and gorgeous people is still one of my favourite things about this job – so a huge thanks goes to all of your for inviting me along to your days or into your lives and letting me capture such special times. It’s been a real pleasure working with all of you and, as always, I’ve had so much fun, smiled and laughed so much alone the way.
I have so, SO much to show you and so much to catch up and blog.. but, for now, here are some of my favourite pictures and videos from 2015! A very, very happy 2016 to you all!
