He’s making a list..

…and these little beauties better be on it! Only kidding, this is my Christmas list this year but to be honest I’ll probably buy myself these little treats in dribs and drabs in the new year if they aren’t under the tree.. Most of it’s photo stuff so functional right?

What’s on your list this year?

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas!

Just a quick post to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a very happy and prosperous New Year. It’s all go at this end and I haven’t had much time to sit back and relax, but I can’t complain!

I’ d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has helped me in my first year of business, for your support and for your custom. I’ve met such wonderful people in the past year or so, and I’m so lucky to have found so many like-minded individuals who have given me the confidence to take everything in my own direction. I’m eternally grateful to my Grandpa Keith, who really helped me get started just over a year ago; he’s consistently enthusiastic about anything I do, and he still calls me ‘his Sally Wally’- what more could I wish for?! Also a huge thank you to David, my new husband, who has always supported me throughout the past five years, but has really ‘been there’ since I started snapping away; giving me advice, reassuring me or being someone to moan to when I can’t take being on hold to the HMRC any longer!

So here’s to a great Christmas, and high hopes for the New Year. Eat, drink and be merry!

The Christmas Curiosity Project

Have any of you out there heard of the Curiosity Project? It’s the best idea I’ve come across in ages, the Christmas Curiosity Project is only my second ‘go’ at it, but I think I’ll have to do it every time. The project is organised by Tiffany from Grant-Riley Weddings; the idea is that you compile a box of goodies for a complete stranger, having only been provided with their gender, address and a small sentence about their interests. Pictures of the boxes received by everyone from all over the UK, and sometimes even further, are then posted on the blog. Anyway, I remember describing my interests as something along the lines of “vintage/retro lover, loving anything crafty and DIY” and I received an amazing silver glittery box full of amazing treats from an anonymous sender! Here are the pics of my box. Get in touch if you sent it!!
