Ahhh what can I say about Sara, Paul, Edit and bump…. I first met them when they enquired about their wedding photography and we all wandered around the park last Autumn for some family photographs (after which Edie named me ‘Sally from the forest’, which I just loved..). Sara sent me an email quite soon afterwards asking me to change the date to an entire year later as she was expecting number two, which has turned out to be a little sister for Edie!
I met up with them all in their colourful family home for some photographs of them all at this stage.. imminently awaiting the wonderful chaos that will be their new addition.
I can’t tell you how wonderful it is to be part of their story..
It was completely wonderful to go and meet baby Harry and see his Mum and Dad again.. from what Facebook shows me he’s grown and changed so quickly already, but here are a few frames from his newborn shoot we did back in August. He is completely scrummy and I really hope to see him again for another cuddle in the future..
Of all the people I know who’ve had children, I don’t know many that carry off running around after little ones whilst being pregnant as well as Anna. She may be running around after three already but she just looks so beautiful.. here are some photographs from a maternity session before bubba number four makes his/her appearance..!
I came across Mr & Mrs Maker when we asked them to make our wedding cake last year.. Dav and I loved it and have followed their work ever since. I can’t get my head around what they can do with a bit of creativity and icing, and after they gave me a box of six cupcakes as I left this shoot (chocolate orange, cherry bakewell and coffee…YUM) I can vouch that their work is totally delicious too.
It’s worth saying that their lovely three little ones don’t always make their cakes behind the scenes (no child labour here!).. but they did a pretty good job of baking cupcakes yesterday (but a much better job of licking the spoons afterwards!)
Nicola got in touch about a family shoot a little while ago, and suggested popping along to Stewart Park. Emily, her little girl, was the best little model and was perfect in front of the camera – I loved her! Check out her jumping jacks and those shoes.. unfortunately she informed they may not come in my size….
Yesterday I popped up to the gorgeous Hardwick Park to take some pics of the lovely Lucas & Martha. We met last year on Saltburn beach for some pics, and this time mum, Lynsey, had brought some balloons, a teaset and a football to get some ‘action shots’ of them playing. It was a gloriously sunny day, and we wandered around exploring and getting some pics of them all.
Here are a few of my favourites for now, more to come soon!
