We were up early on Saturday to take Vivienne to her nursery friend’s birthday party in Redcar, then took a quick walk along the seafront before David went to work. Redcar is an old industrial seaside town near us, complete with arcades, fish & chips and lemon top ice creams. There’s something about the beach which makes you feel so small, and even though we were blown around by strong winds it was lovely to get out and face the elements..

On Friday I travelled to Rushpool Hall just outside Saltburn to see Andrew & Meri get married. I’d met them in the past as friends of friends, and last saw them around 5 years ago at a very lively New Year’s party (the less said about that the better!). They were such a lovely couple, and had planned a sparkling wintery wedding and reception in the Blue Room, complete with champagne colours, lace details, feathers and flowers. Meri looked absolutely amazing in a golden champagne dress with some of the best wedding shoes I’ve ever seen, and the day was a gorgeous celebration of marriage, family and friends. Here are a few of a recent shoot with Lucas & Martha. Their mum, Lynsey, suggested Saltburn as a location and it was a fabulous choice, Saltburn is always amazing with its historic pier, beach, cliff and smell of Fish & Chips; it definitely provided a great set for the day! Here are a few favourites, Lucas is 3 in November and Martha had just turned 1, such cute ages, and, of course, neither of them stayed still for long which helped get some great action shots!
