In May I was lucky enough to get over to The Netherlands to shoot Grahame and Yulia’s wedding, and I jumped at the chance to stay an extra day and a half and go exploring a bit. With a busy family life it’s rare that I get a few full days to myself and I even worried that I would’t know what to do in just my own company, but it was wonderful to go wandering with my camera and explore. Here are some personal pics I took on both film and digital. The wedding was in Brielle, and I also pottered around Rotterdam before spending a night and the next morning in Amsterdam. Paris | Personal Work
In October this year my husband and I decided to take a little break and nip off to gorgeous Paris for a few days. We stayed in Monmarte and loved the brasseries, bars and gorgeous scenes across the city.To make it a real break I didn’t take my ‘big’ camera, and just used a little film point-and-shoot all weekend.. here are my favourites from a long lazy weekend..

Because it’s Monday, and because it’s grey and raining and cold outside, I’ve decided to look back and relive the hot, chaotic and magical few days I spent in Marrakech for Nay and Dan’s wedding back in June.
I love to explore new places, and don’t often get opportunity to with life, budgeting and the school run getting in the way. Marrakech really is a place to throw yourself head first into.. You can see my film photography from Marrakech here. I think it’s time to plan another trip..
