Yesterday I popped up to the gorgeous Hardwick Park to take some pics of the lovely Lucas & Martha. We met last year on Saltburn beach for some pics, and this time mum, Lynsey, had brought some balloons, a teaset and a football to get some ‘action shots’ of them playing. It was a gloriously sunny day, and we wandered around exploring and getting some pics of them all.

This week I spent a few days on set with the Fighter Pilot cast and crew. The set the team had built from scratch was amazing! You wouldn’t think that it was a but’n’ben sized space in the middle of a field in Goathland! I spent my time trying not to get in the way and getting behind-the-scenes shots of everyone at work.

Something a little bit different for you today… recently I did a photoshoot as a second shooter for the lovely Katie Byram up on South Shields beach and in Marsden Grotto (a fab venue, and literally built into the cliff). The day was full of wonderful suppliers who were all lovely to work with. I’ve never been a second shooter before, and decided to also try making a short video of ‘behind the scenes’..

I do love my trusty Diana camera.. and since uploading a handful of my 35mm film camera photos I thought I’d start sharing some pics from my favourite little lomo camera..
Here is quite an overdone shot but I love it, there is something so dreamy about looking from the trees to the sky and the layers making you feel so small..
I’m not sure where most of my lomo photographs are (somewhere in the mess-of-a-study no doubt) but I have been carrying 4 undeveloped films in my handbag for about 4 months since my favourite independent camera shop in Middlesbrough closed. One film even contains photographs I took during our wedding day (yes, I was that obsessed that I carried a camera around), so I promise I’ll share as soon as they’re developed.
