Marrakech {Digital} | Personal

Because it’s Monday, and because it’s grey and raining and cold outside, I’ve decided to look back and relive the hot, chaotic and magical few days I spent in Marrakech for Nay and Dan’s wedding back in June.

I love to explore new places, and don’t often get opportunity to with life, budgeting and the school run getting in the way. Marrakech really is a place to throw yourself head first into.. You can see my film photography from Marrakech here. I think it’s time to plan another trip..MARRAKECH-TRAVEL-PHOTOGRAPHY-052MARRAKECH-TRAVEL-PHOTOGRAPHY-002MARRAKECH-TRAVEL-PHOTOGRAPHY-009

Film Dump, Italy | Personal

I’ve started taking more and more personal work on film this year.. it’s been a promise to myself for a long time to experiment more and keep pushing to try new things and new ways to work. I’m trying not to be precious about it and also trying to accept my personal work for what it is.. a bit more raw, shooting from my heart and shooting purely for myself. Here is some film work from Italy back in May.. with some digital work at the end too. Grab a cuppa and have a browse..Janine & Martyn-056 Janine & Martyn-049 Janine & Martyn-045 Janine & Martyn-092 Janine & Martyn-040 Janine & Martyn-069

January/February | Personal Work

This year, like every year, I promised myself to do more personal work. I decided to begin a ‘365 project’ – a photo a day for a year. I decided not to impose any rules on myself for it, which means most images have been taken on my iPhone (edited with VSCOcam), and some so far have also been taken on my Olympus Trip 365, Polaroid using Impossible Project film and my trusty Canon 5D mkii. I’m enjoying it so far, even if some work-from-home/glued-to-my-screen days are less inspirational than others. I’m enjoying the moodiness of some of them and the fact that my editing preferences seem to be edging into darker territory..Processed with VSCOcamProcessed with VSCOcam with t1 presetProcessed with VSCOcam with t1 presetProcessed with VSCOcam with t1 preset Continue reading
